HASCO Vision Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (HASCO Vision), was formally established on March 28, 2018, as a wholly state-owned enterprise after HASCO Vision acquired the shares of the original Shanghai Koito Automotive Lamp Co., Ltd. (established in 1989) from the Japanese shareholders.
HASCO Vision spealizes in the technical development, consultation, services, and technology transfer in the fields of visual technology, intelligence technology, lighting and signal system technology, electronic technology, and intelligent equipment technology. The company is involved in the import and export of goods and technology, as well as the production and sale of automotive electronic equipments and automotive lighting components. Additionally, the company is engaged in the sale of desiccants (excluding hazardous chemicals).

Established a speculative design center with three major segments - creative design, digital design, and system integration.
Achieved full coverage of design capabilities, including design strategy, conceptual creativity, digital models, interactive experiences, etc.
This marked the beginning of HASCO Vision's vigorous development towards product intelligence and digitization, aligning with the implementation of the three-year action plan for new energy development. Three teams were set up in this initiative.

HASCO Automotive fully acquired shares of Japan's Koito and Toyota Tsusho, formally establishing HASCO Vision Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.
Shanghai Koito Automotive Lamp Co., Ltd. was officially renamed as HASCO Vision Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.

On March 21st, the Machinery and Electronics Bureau issued a document: Approving the renaming of Xinchen Automotive Parts Factory to Shanghai Car Lamp Factory.

Demao Wang established Wang Deji Copper and Iron Shop (predecessor of Hasco Vision) on Weihaiwei Road (now Weihai Road) with 500 silver dollars, specializing in the repair of automotive headlights, cylinder gaskets, and other services.
